GIFTE

The Global Institute For Technology & Engineering is comprised of dedicated volunteers around the world. GIFTE is not a membership organization. It is a 501(c)3 nonprofit educational public service organization.

GIFTE is dedicated to:

• Elevating the status of women in the technology and engineering workforce
• Providing programs to encourage direct mentoring and interactions of girls and young women with successful technical women
• Providing financial assistance to encourage technical studies
• Promoting activities of an educational nature

What Does GIFTE Do?

• Conducts programs with students at the 6th grade, high school, and university levels
• Places emphasis on improving self-esteem
• Networking and role-modeling while sharing the adventure and fun of having a technical career.
• Bring technical women volunteers to the students for the sharing of technical-workplace experiences, advice, and mentoring.
